PREVALENCE OF UPPER LIMB INJURIES IN TAMBORÉU PLAYERS IN THE CITY OF SANTOS

Abstract
The objective of the study was to analyze the prevalence of upper limb injuries in tambourine practitioners in the city of Santos. It had the participation of 26 practitioners of the sport. Two questionnaires were administered to the participants, one to characterize the sample and the other for upper limb injuries. As a result, the most affected was the shoulder (66.7%), followed by the elbow (26.7%) and finally the wrist region (6.6%). This study concludes that the shoulder joint presented the highest prevalence of injury, followed by the elbow and wrist.
