Abstract
The article discusses grain storage capacity at the Port of Santos and its importance for the competitiveness of Brazilian agribusiness. The goal is to propose solutions to address the infrastructure deficit, which directly impacts logistical efficiency and the quality of exported grains. The methodology included a review of academic, governmental, and sectoral analyses, identifying challenges and proposing alternatives. The lack of capacity stems from increased production and low investment. The study highlights the need to modernize infrastructure and improve logistics efficiency. To expand storage capacity, investments in technology, transport modes, and public-private partnerships are crucial for sustainable and effective solutions.
