Main Article Content
Abstract
In light of humanitarian crises involving forced displacement, this monograph explores the development of a project aimed at fostering welcoming and supportive relationships among migratory diasporas. The study focuses on the rehabilitation of a historic building in Santos. Reflecting on new narratives, it highlights the harsh realities of forced survival, reporting on the historical context of refugees and migration worldwide. In this recognition process, Brazil, which has often marginalized its foreigners, emerges as a cradle of welcome. Ultimately, this work proposes a project designed for those who strive to build new lives, ensuring that their stories are not forgotten—a project dedicated to creating better conditions for lives in motion.
