Abstract
Autism Spectrum Disorder is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects communication, social interaction, and behavior, requiring individualized interventions. This study analyzed pharmaceutical care in the management of individuals with the disorder, emphasizing rational medicine use and adequacy of pharmaceutical forms. The narrative review, based on publications from 2020 to 2024, showed that there is no specific drug, but antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and herbal medicines have been used for associated symptoms. Pharmaceutical care proved essential to provide guidance, prevent adverse events, support adherence, and enhance treatment safety and effectiveness
