Abstract
Technological advancements in medical fields have driven significant transformations in oncology diagnosis, particularly in pathology. The objective of this research is to analyze, through a literature review, the main advanced techniques used to diagnose malignant diseases. Recent articles were selected from databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and SciELO, focusing on innovations such as digital pathology, immunohistochemistry, artificial intelligence, and fluorescent in situ hybridization. These tools increase diagnostic accuracy, accelerate detection, and guide the choice of more effective and personalized therapies. In clinical practice, these advances favor early and accurate diagnoses, contributing to better prognosis and quality of life for patients
