ANXIETY SYMPTOMS AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH OVERACTIVE BLADDER SYNDROME IN UNIVERSITY STUDENTES

Abstract
The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between anxiety symptoms and Overactive Bladder Syndrome (OBS) in female university students. This was an analytical, observational, cross-sectional, electronic study involving 52 female university students. Data tabulation revealed that the average age of the participants was 24.15 years, and that 75% (n=39) presented anxiety symptoms, with 40.4% (n=21) having a positive correlation between the two variables. Given the above, this study concludes that there was a moderate correlation between anxiety symptoms and OBS among the female university students
