Abstract

Skateboarding is an action sport widely practiced in urban centers, particularly in the city of Santos, recognized as Brazil’s National Capital of Skateboarding. The city also stands out as a model for alternative urban mobility solutions, such as bicycle and electric-scooter sharing. Building on Internet of Things (IoT)–based solutions that have fostered intellectual and cultural democratization, this work develops a mobile skateboard storage cabinet equipped with electromagnetic locks.
