Abstract

The ColunaScan is a smart vest equipped with five MPU6050 sensors for non-invasive assessment of spinal postural deviations. The sensors collect inclination data that is transmitted to dedicated software, which generates visual reports for physical therapists and orthopedists. The 3D-printed housing protects the sensors and allows proper adjustment to the patient's body, ensuring comfort and accuracy. In addition to the physical device, a website was developed to store and analyze the data, enabling real-time clinical monitoring. The solution represents an affordable, fast, and safe alternative to traditional radiological examinations, with potential application across different age groups and healthcare contexts
