TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTION FOR INTERNAL VEHICLE NAVIGATION IN THE PORT TERMINAL: APPLICATION OF QR CODE FOR CONTAINER LOCATION
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article presents a technological solution for the internal navigation of vehicles in a port terminal, applying QR Codes to assist drivers in locating yards designated for the receipt and delivery of containers. The study contextualizes the difficulties faced in terminals with high structural complexity and poor signage, which result in operational bottlenecks, increased costs, and non-compliance with the stipulated average service time. The proposal consists of linking a QR Code to the entry ticket provided to each driver, allowing access to a GPS-style navigation system on mobile devices, facilitating the location of the destination. The study indicates that the technology demonstrates practical feasibility, scalability, and integration with existing systems, representing progress in port logistics
