ARTISTIC LANGUAGE: THE INFLUENCE OF ART ON THE SOCIAL FORMATION OF INDIVIDUALS

Abstract

The aim of this article is to highlight the relevance of art in the construction of human history, emphasizing how it becomes an essential tool for individual’s social formation and helps to insert them in society. The analysis proposed here examines the relation between art and society, as well as the importance of artistic expression for human development since the beginning of the species. From the thesis that art emerged simultaneously to mankind, we will explore the way that visual art is configured as the first language known in the trajectory of humanity and its essentiality in interpretation and comprehension of the internal and external world
