FAMILY NEGLECT AND EDUCATION: HOW PARENTAL ABANDONMENT AFFECTS THE LEARNING OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS

Abstract
This paper aims to present the results of the analysis between family neglect and learning difficulties in children and adolescents. The main objective is to understand how the lack of family structure impacts the academic and social development of young people. The methodology used included interviews with education professionals, which allowed for a qualitative analysis of the topic. The results indicate that parental abandonment can cause difficulties in school performance and socialization problems. It is concluded that early intervention and strengthening support networks are essential to reduce the effects of neglect and promote a healthier educational environment for affected children and adolescents
