Main Article Content
Abstract
This Final Graduation Project proposes the retrofit of the ALMAI clinic in Cubatão (SP), focusing on psychological care for children and adolescents. The aim is to redesign the internal and external spaces based on principles of neuroarchitecture, environmental psychology, and biophilic design to promote emotional and behavioral well-being. The methodology included interviews with mental health professionals, physical site surveys, and solar orientation studies, highlighting the importance of welcoming, playful, well-lit, and nature-integrated environments. The functional diagnosis supported a needs program following ABNT standards, covering reception, therapy rooms, green areas, and support spaces, along with graphic resources that demonstrate the architect’s role in creating humanized and functional therapeutic environments
