Abstract

Museums and parks have indispensable functions for the cities. Parks can help to improve climate and environment, bring well-being, leisure and tranquility amidst urban chaos. Museums keep and preserve, study and show various artifacts, relics and anything that can tell a story to the public. Because of that this work has the objective of showing how they can help to provide leisure and culture in the same space, identifying your aspects and projecting an urban park with a museum of natural history in Santos, SP. Concluding the many ways to think about this junction and how they can relate with the topics covered in this work. As a methodology, this work is characterized as mixed by using qualitative and quantitative research
