TEACHING MATHEMATICS “HAND IN HAND” CHILDREN´S LITERATURE – FROM NA INTERDISCIPLINARY PERSPECTIVE
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article addresses the teaching of mathematics to early childhood education children (ages 4 and 5) through the use of children’s literature. We seek to establish connections between the playful teaching of mathematics and children’s learning. The study presents a literature review based on authors who explore the integration of literature and mathematics. The results indicate that linking literature with mathematics is beneficial, as this practice helps foster children’s engagement and motivation, stimulates creativity, enriches mathematical vocabulary, and enhances their ability to solve simple mathematical problems
