THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AS A SUPPORT TOOL IN ELEMENTARY EDUCATION – TEACHERS' PERCEPTIONS

Abstract
– This research project focuses on the use of Artificial Intelligence as a support tool in Elementary Education. It is justified by the growing presence of AI in society and its integration into the educational context, which demands reflection on its applicability in the teaching practices, considering its potential and the challenges faced by teachers during implementation. The methodology will be both qualitative, involving the application of questionnaires to elementary school teachers. The collected data will be interpreted through content analysis and compared whit findings from previous studies. The expected outcome is the identification of the best practices, limitations and training needs so that AI can effectively contribute to the improvement of the teaching-learning process.
