THE RELIGION AND THE POLITICAL MANIPULATION IN THE ISRAEL -PALESTINE CONFLICT
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to analyze how religion in the Israel-Palestine conflict has been used as a political tool to mobilize communities and legitimize military and territorial actions. The research is based on literature review, analysis of religious documents, leaders’ speeches, and media production. It examines the roles of Benjamin Netanyahu, Hamas, and pacifying religious initiatives, such as the letter of 80 rabbis and the Islamic Declaration of Human Rights. The study concludes that religion, when used politically, intensifies tensions, yet ethical interpretations can foster dialogue and peace
