HABITARE MODEL CONDOMINIUM
Main Article Content
Abstract
- This research aims to demonstrate how an urban residential condominium can be effectively sustainable and offer viable thermal comfort for habitation in the coming years in Brazil. It considers aspects of global warming and seeks to mitigate and balance its causes. The project envisions a multifamily condominium that shows how, even in a minimal space, it is possible to achieve comfort and ergonomics, aesthetic and functional architecture, while incorporating a modern lifestyle — including working from home and sustainable collective cultivation and production. Initially, the project will be implemented in São Vicente/SP, a city lacking infrastructure, waste and sewage collection and treatment, and suffering from a deficit in urban greenery and other solar radiation reduction systems
