Abstract
This article examines cultural resistance during the Brazilian Military Dictatorship (1964-1985), initiated by the 1964 coup, aiming to analyze how music, religion, and arts challenged the authoritarianism of the Institutional Acts (AI-5, 1968), which repressed freedoms (Michaelis, 2025; Torres, 2018).
