IDLIFE: BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM IN A DATABASE FOR CLINICAL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

Abstract

– In medical emergencies, rapid patient identification is essential to reduce risks and ensure safe care. IdLife is a biometric fingerprint identification system linked to a database that provides critical information such as allergies, surgical history, and emergency contacts. Developed in React Native, with AdonisJS and PostgreSQL, it enables secure and fast access, minimizing clinical errors and optimizing hospital protocols. Tests in simulated scenarios confirmed the feasibility of the solution, representing an advance in healthcare digitalization. The system can be integrated with hospital platforms, contributing to life preservation
