Abstract

Restorative Justice (RJ) emerges as an innovative approach aimed at rebuilding social bonds and repairing the harm caused by conflicts, in contrast to the traditional punitive model. In this context, Circle Processes (CP) are fundamental tools, providing a safe and horizontal dialogue space based on active listening, empathy, and shared responsibility. This descriptive and bibliographic study aimed to understand the relationship between RJ and CP, identifying how this methodology fosters dialogue, the reconstruction of relationships, and a culture of peace. The results showed that circle processes are effective instruments in both legal and healthcare contexts, promoting the strengthening of interpersonal relationships and the humanization of institutional practices. It is concluded that the integration between RJ and CP represents a promising path for developing a more restorative, ethical, and participatory form of justice
