Abstract
Plastic waste is one of the most impactful in the marine environment, as it affects all aquatic species as well as seabird species. In this work, we used Annotated Paraconsistent Logic with 2-value annotation (LPA2v) to calculate the global impact of plastic waste on albatross populations. The value obtained in degrees of evidence, in relation to Proposition I, which corresponds to the impact of plastic waste, was (0.36). The values found in the form of degrees of evidence show that the paraconsistent method is valid, as it analyzed information from different locations, so that it did not invalidate the conclusions and thus, a degree of global impact was reached, also providing conditions for use for quantitative analyses in other ecological approaches.
