Abstract
This study aims to analyze the legislation related to supplementary health in Brazil, and the exclusions of treatments practiced by health plans for children with disabilities and their families so that they can enjoy the benefits provided by the Health Plans. Health Plans often refuse specialized treatments prescribed by doctors for the better development of the child. Health plans deny them on the grounds that such treatments are not included in the List of the National Health Agency - ANS, implying a violation of the Right to Health.
