Abstract
Potentially contaminated areas impact the environment as a whole, in addition to causing harm to human health, compromising fauna and flora, and causing social and economic problems. In this context, the objective of this article is to evaluate the presence or absence of BTEXs and PAHs in the soil of a fleet supply and vehicle maintenance transportation company, as well as their effects. Four samples were collected for laboratory analysis and the results were compared with nationally and internationally established parameters. The results showed no BTEX contamination, and in two samples results above the intervention level for OG were observed, thus requiring remediation in the area.
