Phenotypic evaluation among specimens of the Cactaceae family and the construction of cladograms Lucas Oliveira da Cruz Siqueira, Mike de Souza Moreira, Karina Faria Santos, Fabio Giordano

Abstract

The present work aims at analyzing plants of the family of Cactaceae selected during a technical visit to the Botanical Garden Plantarum of Nova Odessa - SP for the discipline of Biosystematics, through observation of the morphological characteristics of the plants through the elaboration of a cladogram and a dendogram using the Past software, which performs an analysis and presents grouping results from the binary combination. Six differentiation variables were considered: spines, flower, shape, group occurrence, branching and stiffening.
