Abstract
Nowadays it’s practically mandatory for banks to invest in their digital transformation. More and more customers are looking for digital experiences, and although this may offer convenience for the customer, since most operations can be done digitally, for banks it’s an advantage since invest in digital platforms can reduce the numbers of physical agencies. This paper presents the current situation of banks in relation to digital transformation and an analysis of the main challenges to reach it, as the future and the survival of the banks will depend on how they stand on this issue.
