Abstract

The present study presents a basic description of methods of identification of marine amphipods, aiming to offer an introductory method to the characters of taxonomic importance for the students of biological sciences. The introductory method is essential to assist in the identification and familiarization of the structures and nomenclatures of the morphological characters of each specimen. Specialized bibliographical references, more exhaustive survey of techniques of dissection and identification allow us to assist and not induce in the taxonomic refinement.
