Abstract

An organizational restructuring process needs to be well planned and executed, since it will involve changes in attitude as well as behavioral aspects. In this sense, the present work aims to study how management tools can contribute effectively in an organizational restructuring process. Thus, this study seeks to answer which of the management tools presents itself in an efficient and effective way, to the point of solving the problems of structuring and processes in an automotive maintenance company. The general objective is to analyze which management tool is presented as the best way to be followed to solve the problem of restructuring of the company mentioned. To achieve this objective, an exploratory and descriptive methodology was employed, using as a method a case study and the application of management tools such as 5W2H, Ishikawa Diagram (cause and effect) and PDCA. The results obtained allowed to admit that the PDCA presented itself as the most efficient and effective in the process of restructuring the organization and management of the processes.
