Abstract

The National Graduate Meetings promoted by Universidade Santa Cecília aim to establish a specialized space for master's and doctoral students, as well as specialization courses from all over Brazil, to disseminate and discuss their technical and scientific work. This space is of great importance for students and advisors to discuss and evaluate opinions of colleagues and professors, sharing and disseminating knowledge generated in the various graduate programs in Brazil. In 2019, we are at the VIII National Graduate Meeting. In this edition, we have a 25% increase in participation in papers, with 117 papers approved by the scientific committee. Excellent quality works that were developed by students and professors of stricto sensu graduate programs, as well as some conclusion and outstanding works selected from lato sensu graduate programs. The 2019 work presentation event scheduled for November 8th and 9th featured panel presentations and oral presentations of works, as well as a set of mini-courses for scientific updating that are listed below: 1. Prof. Dr. Patricia Gorisch - UNISANTA 4. Supplementary health - general aspects. Prof. Dr. Luciano Pereira de Souza 5. Climate change: knowing the past to project the future. Prof. Dr. Vinicius Ribau Mendes – UNIFESP, Baixada Santista6. Monitoring biodiversity from the animals’ perspective. Prof. Dr. Domingos Garrone Neto - UNESP, Registro7. Thermography and applications in biosciences, a physiological view of the invisible. Prof. Dr. Guilherme Gomes – USP Institute of Physics of São Carlos8. Thermal use of solid biomass waste for energy generation – Use of thermal monitoring techniques and combustion diagnostics in industrial boilers. Prof. Dr. Carlos Teófilo Salinas Sedano- UNISANTA9. Artificial Intelligence. Prof. Dr. Dorotéa Vilanova Garcia - FATEC Baixada Santista and UNISANTAThe event, organized by professors and master’s students from different UNISANTA graduate programs and held by UNISANTA, has the support of scholarship funding agencies (FAPESP, CAPES, CNPq); Santos and Region Convention & Visitors Bureau; UNISANTA Journals Portal and is recognized by the UN - UNAI (United Nations Academic Impact) as an event of great academic impact due to its innovation and the possibility of its social reach.
