Abstract

 Calculates the consumption of Fuel Oil A1 and Biogas to heat an equal oil flow from a large brazilian refinery before its entry into the Oil Distillation Tower. It analyzes the energetic potential of the daily deposition of organic residues in the Santos sanitary landfill for biogas production and its possibility of replacing the Fuel Oil A1 to heat oil.
