Abstract

The Government of the State of São Paulo and the City of Cubatão developed a social and environmental recovery project of Serra do Mar that explicitly removes people from Cota neighborhoods and reforestation of the area. In view of this, the application of Knowledge Management on the Serra do Mar socio-environmental recovery project was analyzed to verify if the Project objectives were achieved and to propose innovative points. The state of the art was realized and the theory of knowledge management at work was applied. The results showed that the Project objectives are being achieved and is in continuous execution, social is practically solved and environmental in regenerative phase of its vegetation cover.
