Abstract

This paper deals with the contradictions imposed by health insurance companies that, even with the advent of Law No. 9,656 / 1998, also known as Health Plans Law, insist on taking harmful positions to its users. The results describe how the relations between operators and users occurred before and after the Health Plans Law and, afterwards, the contradictions that exist even with the referred law regulating the sector are pointed out.
