Law No. 17,137 / 19 of the State of São Paulo and Resolution No. 2,144 / 16 of the Federal Council of Medicine on Caesarean Birth Danilo Lacerda de Souza Ferreira

Abstract

The present study intends to verify if the Law n. 17,137/19 of the State of São Paulo represents novelty to the parturient and to the doctor himself or if the core of the referred legislation was already assured to the parturient and doctor by the normative resolutions of the Federal Council of Medicine, specifically in its Resolution No. 2,144/2016.
