Abstract
The purpose of this article is to examine the Greek thinking about heredity, its formation, the dynamics and the development of the human being, especially with regard to male and female participation in this reproductive process, drawing on the studies and works of Pythagoras, Aeschylus, Plato and Aristotle, founded on common sense .
