Study and application of Jet grouting technique in slope containment of the Navy Pier in the port of Santos Guilherme Righi, Alexandre Jusis Blanco

Abstract

The jet grouting armed with metal H profile was the method used for stabilization and formation of the slopes in marine beds, containing the ground, positioned in a way as to keep the piles of the ornament of the quay with the necessary least paving, allowing the dredging to operate ships with bigger draught. There was the need of an on-going process of dredging and modernization. With this, a new obstacle to be solved, with the deeping of the channel and of mooring berths was identified the need to contain the material confined under the pier and keep the piles with soil in your base, such was the developed study it projects the restriction using the method of curtain through a line of dryers jet grouting.
