Abstract
Raman spectra have been used successfully in the analysis of different substances. The objective of this study was to analyze the impacts and interferences of low resolution in the interpretations of the Raman signal by the PAL2v and PCA techniques in samples of common and adulterated gasoline. The results demonstrate that lower resolutions can affect the analysis of Raman signals, with considerable classification errors.
