Abstract

This research aimed to apply and analyze the behavior of an algorithm called Paraconsistent Analysis Node (PAN). This algorithm is based on non-classical logic called Paraconsistent Annotated Logic with annotation of two values (PAL2v) and will be studied in embedded mode using a Programmable Controller (PC) acting in an industrial automation system containing a continuous closed-loop process to control the system flow. The results obtained show that the PAN presented an equivalent behavior in comparison to the already consolidated PID system, thus demonstrating that it is a promising technique and a good alternative for the control of closed loop processes, in compliance with the IEC 61131-3 standard.
