Abstract

Consumption and water scarcity have become an increasing need in the world. The present study presents a proposal for indirect measurement of water consumption by measuring the activation of a discharge pump in a residential condominium in the city of Santos-SP. The system consisted basically of simple electronic components for measuring the time and operation of the pump. The unit that has been verified by indirect measurement. It is a viable and low-cost alternative for real measurement of consumption.
