Abstract

 Sleep is an important physiological process that can be influenced by several factors. In order to assess the influence of the covid-19 pandemic on the sleep quality of physical education students. 103 students of both genders, aged between 17 and 44 years were evaluated, using a PSQI questionnaire. The results were divided into very good, good, bad and very bad, for the subjective quality of sleep the results were 26.2%, 51.5%, 12.7% and 9.7%. As for sleep latency, 16.5%, 31.06%, 28.1% and 24.7% respectively, 78.6% of those evaluated did not use medication to aid sleep. The sleep quality of these students is poor. The analyzed factors influence the quality of sleep. They are believed to be reflections of the quarantine.
