Abstract
Productivity on a global scale has been growing over the years, and with increased use of plastic products the demand for a way to manage these resources should also grow, The existence of these products on the Environment does not present the ability to exacerbate deleterious factors such as physical damage due to ingestion by animals in contact with these plastic products. Toxic substances present in water as hydrocarbons, have their occurrence both naturally and anthropogenically. With the occurrence of microplastic ...... these damages can be enhanced. Histology is an excellent tool for evaluating the effects of these elements, as it acts as a data supply on the effects caused. be used is Astyanax lacustris or tetra fish, as it is popularly called, has been used in the area The specimen to of ecotoxicology because it is a widely distributed fish in Brazil and you have a key role in the food chain. The objective of this work is to evaluate damages caused by the interaction of HPAs and microplastic to the species A. lacustris through observation of histological data in stomach and intestinal tissues. For this, four treatments were considered: inert MP, HPA, MP+HPA and contaminated MP. It was concluded that the individuals of A. lacustris present histopathological alterations in stomach and intestinal tissue in the treatments mentioned except for control and MP+HPA.
