This study is a literature review that aims to discuss what are those impacts and what are the possible solutions. It was identified as the most socioenvironmental negative effects the water and earth ecotoxicity, the development of super resistant bacteria and the damage to public health. As possible solutions it was identified improvements on reverse logistics, population awareness and education either environmental and from schools, improvements on legislative specificity and selective collect of trash. It was concluded that the socioenvironmental impacts must be widely investigated, and public policies must be more specifically developed as so the supervision must be more effectively done.
