Abstract

The conveying of granular solids is an important operation in several industrial and agricultural processes. Within the available conveyor options, the pneumatic conveyor stands out for offering advantages for food grains. The objective of this work was to analyze the pressure profiles of this pneumatic corn transport system in diluted phase. To carry out the studies used an experimental unit with a transport capacity of 204.19 to 513.42 kg / h of corn grain. The pressure profiles were chosen for five different transport and three different mass flow values. It was concluded that the pressures data observed the auxiliary future corn grain transport projects.
