Abstract

 In this study, sustainable issues and existing sustainability programs and projects were raised, which becomes the Port of Itajaí-SC along with its hinterland, conducive to economic and sustainable development in the future, enabling the arrival of new private companies to operate in the port sector, generating external competitiveness, benefiting the national and local economy, as well as the social growth of the city.
