Medically assisted reproduction: bioethical and biojuridical aspects. Ana Beatriz Gomiero dos Santos, Renato Braz Mehanna Kamis
Main Article Content
Abstract
The advent of medically assisted reproduction, which emerged to enable the biological reproduction of infertile couples, with techniques that allow the use of third-party gametes and extracorporeal fertilization, resulted in an exponential increase in the complexity of human reproductive relationships. As a result, several complex bioethical and biojuridical questions arise on the subject. The present work aims, through doctrinal research, to identify the most relevant of these issues and, through normative research, to identify the solutions adopted nationally and internationally for such controversial points.
