Abstract

This article aims to demonstrate how the coronavirus pandemic reduced the number of pediatric transplants in Brazil. The methodology used is descriptive exploratory bibliography and documentary research. The results and discussion demonstrate that the Covid-19 pandemic reduced the number of transplants of children and adolescents in 2020 compared to data from previous years 2019, 2018 and 2017.
