Freshwater Island Fishes: Inventory of a Rainforest Remnant Thiago Dal Negro, João Alberto Paschoa dos Santos, Matheus Marcos Rotundo

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to inventory the ichthyofauna of the Serra do Guararu Environmental Protection Area, Guarujá-SP. Fish were collected between 2011 and 2014 using diferente capture artifacts over a complete climate cycle. 14 families and 21 species were recorded, Phalloceros harpagos being the most abundant. Among the records species were observed, three exotic species and several species also related to estuarine environments.
