Abstract

The institutional care of children and adolescents is an integral, exceptional and provisional measure of protection, guaranteed by legal provisions, when family or affective ties are weakened and even broken. In this sense, the study will analyze the factors that prevent the realization of the right to family life of children and adolescents with cerebral palsy, welcomed in a specialized shelter service in the city of Santos/SP.
