Abstract
This article proposes to demonstrate the interconnection of economic and social justice with food insecurity, hunger and their impacts on the health of the population. The article presents a brief exposition of Aristotle and John Rawls in relation to economic and social justice. Below we bring a brief account of the current situation of hunger and food insecurity in the world, in Brazil and its impacts on the health of the population.This work used the exploratory-narrative and secondarily historical method.
