Abstract

The paper seeks to examine the National Health Service in Portugal in comparison with the Unified Health System in Brasil, as aim of highlighting the main similarities and differences, as well as analyzing its principles, structures, national policies and goals of healthcare provision services. Therefore, this work enters the field of international law (comparative), in order to discuss the perspectives of the two systems, since both States are part of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP).
