Abstract

The article addresses the growing relevance of digital heritage in the age of technology. The main objective is to examine the legal and practical issues surrounding the transfer of digital information and access to mobile devices after the death of an individual. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach, including a review of existing literature on digital heritage. Digital inheritance and access to smartphones after death poses significant challenges. The issue of ownership and control of digital information stored on mobile devices is complex. In the absence of a clear legal framework, it is difficult for heirs to claim access to smartphones after death poses significant challenges.
