Abstract

The biggest challenge in the implementation of the ESG is the acculturation of employees within this tripod: environmental, social and governance. The research proposes the collection of data through a semi-structured questionnaire and the analysis through graphics with the objective of identifying how dockworkers are engaged in socio-environmental issues in the port sector and proposing actions that can be taken to encourage the strengthening of culture ESG in the organization Bear in mind that, currently, companies need to make their businesses sustainable and competitive in the market and the port sector, due to all the complexity involved in its management and its relevance in society, needs to keep up with market trends associated with sustainability.
